Sept 1st, Nichia Corporation visiting team discussed a lot with our general manager Allen-Deng and CTO Mr Li in the board room about VMS (Velocity-Measuring System) EN12966 standards. Nichia Corporation will offer us LED lamps strictly produced under the regulations of EN 12966. And we signed the contract of 100 million RMB with Nichia Corporation for the LED traffic sign project, which symbolizing Dicolor becomes the only LED opto-electronics enterprise honored to pass EN 12966 domestically.

After that Nichia Corporation team visited our factory equipments and much automation machinery, accompanied by Allen-Deng andCTO Mr Li . They were amazed by our company rapid growing.

REMARKS:

EN 12966: European Transport display standard specification EN12966 (European Norm EN12966), EN12966 standard is the EU countries have set up a technical threshold, all access to the EU countries as well as Norway and Switzerland, the market of road traffic signs LED displays must meet EN12966 specifications, the specification asked to approve the following six tests: the visual performance test, physical performance test, structural performance test, electrical demand testing, electromagnetic compatibility test .

DIN EN 12966-1-2005 Road vertical signs - Variable message traffic signs - Part 1: Product standard
DIN EN 12966-2-2005 Road vertical signs - Variable message traffic signs - Part 2: Initial type testing
DIN EN 12966-3-2005 Road vertical signs - Variable message traffic signs - Part 3: Factory production control

Nichia : Nichia has grown in the field of manufacturing and sales of fine chemicals, particularly inorganic luminescent materials (phosphors). In the process of the challenging pursuit of brighter luminescent and light-emitting materials, we succeeded in developing and commercializing the super high brightness Blue LED in 1993. It was accepted with great amazement in the related industries throughout the world. Since the first announcement of the Blue LED in 1993, Nitride-based LEDs in different emission colors ranging from Ultraviolet to Yellow have been contributing to the diversification of LED application fields. In addition to LEDs, a lot of resources are now being focused on the R/D of bluish purple laser diodes, which will definitely play a key role for the further expansion of the information media industry. We have a belief that Nitride-based semiconductors will become one of the most exciting areas of the semiconductor industry in the near future.
